Our Youth Work
At Trentham we believe the youth are a vital part of our church, and we provide a space for them to have fun and find out who God is. For the youth in secondary school our main groups are The Basement and Youth on Sunday.
The Basement

Where: Trentham Church Centre (side building)
The Older Basement on Friday is a Christian youth club for young people in year 7-year 11. We meet at 7-8.30pm. It’s £1 entry and there’s a tuck shop. There is a café style set up upstairs with drinks, chilled music and games. We have a different activities happening like table tennis, pool, table football, darts, card games, Nintendo Switch and crafts. We have a talk based on the Bible with different topics that teenagers can think about and engage with. There are also prayer opportunities. We finish with a team game.

Youth on Sunday
When: 11AM on Sundays
Where: Trentham Church
The Youth on Sunday meets during the morning service on a Sunday (apart from the first Sunday). It’s for year 7- year 11s. We have games, look at different Bible related topics to support young people in their walk with Jesus (discipleship). We have discussions, prayer activities and times of sung worship.

Youth Bible Study
Where: at the Prescott's
The Youth Bible Study on a Wednesday- is for year 7-year 11 young people. The Bible study is an opportunity for the young people to develop their understanding and relationship with the Bible on a deeper level to the time on a Sunday. It is a time of stretching and challenge as we explore together, both leaders and young people, what God is saying to us through his word.
